The best of Burgundy

Cycling trip between Dijon and Mâcon:

After Dijon, capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, with its very charming historic center and its famous mustard. Come take the Route des Grands Crus, between Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, with its clos and cabottes.

Taking the first French wine route (created in 1937), with its 37 recognized villages, it is accessible to everyone. This cycling route will allow you to travel through villages deeply rooted in this wine culture, through world-famous estates registered on the UNESCO World Heritage list, under the name “Climats de Bourgogne”. You can discover castles such as Clos Vougeot, Marsannay or La Crée.

Then continue your stay by visiting Beaune and its hospices, Chagny with its very gourmet hotels and restaurants, the Château de Germolles dating from the Middle Ages, Cluny and its abbey and finally take the Bois-Clair tunnel (the longest tunnel- bicycle from Europe) to arrive at Mâcon with its quays on the banks of the Saône.
